| Bid Specifications
Part of our job is to help our customers do their jobs a little better. One of the things we do is to prepare bid specifications for use when it is necessary to go to bid before purchase. In Alabama, any purchase over seventy five hundred dollars must be bid.
Over the years, we have seen some weird things. Sometimes governmental officials will take the word of a vendor in good faith that for a variety of reasons, it is not necessary to go to bid. Such vendors simply do not want to deal with the effort required to support the bid process or give bad advice based on ignorance or lack of concern for their customers. Unfortunately, it is the USER that is responsible for compliance with the bid law - not the one that may have given the bad advice.
Personally, we think unethical suppliers should be responsible for their actions. Unfortunately, in most cases, they are not. We said that to say this - We ARE committed to doing what is right for YOU! That is why we have taken the effort to develop a set of generic bid specifications for both the Eagleye and Safety Vision vehicle camera system. You can view these specifications at www.info4u.us/Eagleye_Bid_Specifications.pdf.
As you will note, we have provided blank spaces for insertion of your bid number, opening date, department name, etc. If you wish, we can provide this information in WORD format, which will allow you to modify our basic document to your specific requirements. If you would like a copy of these specifications in WORD format, just drop us an email to sales@falcondirect.com, or give us a call 24/7 at 800.489.2611.
We think our customers are special. That’s why we go the extra mile in doing the little things that make us different from all the rest.
