Product Information

You can learn more about our products in the System Planner amd Things to Think About sections of this web site.  That's where we talk about each component of our vehicle camera system.  A link to a product brochure can be found there as well as Bid Specifications, and comments from some of our users.  We want you to know as much as possible about the Safety Vision camera system before you purchase.

That's well and good, but there is another side of product information - the side that deals with what is available AFTER the purchase is made.  We've all purchased products that with had no user information or the information was of little or no value since it was written by the engineering department, or worse yet by an off shore supplier with the original language converted to English using an on-line instant translator.  Somehow, it doesn't quite come out as expected.  We think there is a better way.

One of the things I did early in my career was technical writing.  I actually wrote the manual on the fueling system for the Redstone rocket.  Never even saw one - the manual was written off blueprints a hundred miles away from the manufacturing site.  At one time, I taught people how to repair gas heater controls.  I don't know anything about gas, but I do know how to take something apart, make a list of the components, and document how to put it back together.  At General Electric, I was one of the first Area Managers in the USA (think "teacher"), and in one way or another, I have been writing and teaching most of my adult life.

That is why I was quick to recognize the lack of training for patrol officers relating to the use of products such as vehicle cameras.  So - I decided to do something about it.  I prepared a little three panel pamphlet that deals with the use of the Eagleye system aimed at the actual user - the guy or gal out in the patrol vehicle.  You won't see anything like this from our competition.  It's just one of the little things we do to serve those who serve others.

www.info4u.us/Eagleye_user_instructions.pdf is where you can obtain a copy of this pamphlet.  It prints on two sides of standard 8.5 x 11" letter sized paper.  After printing, you can tri-fold it for distribution to your patrol officers.  If you wish, we will send it to you in WORD or Open Office Writer format and you can make changes as you wish. You can make your request by email to sales@falcondirect.com or call 800.489.2611.

We hope you find it useful!
